The project was sparked by the need for an easy app that helps people manage all their bank accounts and contracts in one place. More users want a simple solution that saves time and effort.
Fynn answers this need by combining banking, contract management, and useful insights into a secure and easy to use app, giving it an edge over other tools.
End-to-End Solo Design Process for Fynn
As the solo designer for Fynn, I followed a user-centered process starting with focus group research, market analysis, and competitor review (Wise, Revolut, Finanzguru, Outbank). Insights informed user personas, journeys, and a clear information architecture.
I created low and high-fidelity wireframes, interactive prototypes, and conducted usability testing for iterative improvements.
In the visual design phase, I crafted the app’s visual elements, including color schemes, typography, and iconography, ensuring consistency with the overall brand identity.
Foundational Design and Feature Prioritization
The first Fynn app versions prioritized core features, linking bank accounts, managing transactions, and handling contracts through a simple, minimalistic design focused on usability and quick user onboarding, aimed at validating the concept and collecting feedback.
